A rural country pub in the marshes of Longton village, The Dolphin Inn forms the start of the 70 mile Ribble Way footpath boasting beautiful countryside views whilst you dine or enjoy a drink.

The Dolphin Inn is the perfect place to stop after a long walk with the dog (dogs welcome in the adults only bar area and beer garden), a ramble with friends, or simply to meet up with friends and family. The Dolphin Inn boasts open fires in the winter and an extensive beer garden for outside drinking and dining in the summer. The pub consists of a separate adult only bar, hosting an array of local cask ales pulled to perfection, and a restaurant which serves food Monday to Saturday 12noon-2pm, 5pm – 8pm (8.30pm Friday and Saturday) and Sunday 12noon-7pm. We also have an outdoor children’s play area which is visible from the restaurant to keep the kids entertained.

As well as our a la carte menu you can also choose from our wide selection of cheeses & cold meats, pickles, chutneys, breads and olives from our pantry. Here you can create your own masterpiece to tantalise your taste buds!
